Dr. Mark A. Lupo, is the medical director of the Thyroid & Endocrine
Center of Florida, located in Sarasota, Florida. Dr. Lupo is board-certified in both Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree and
Internal Medicine training from the University of Florida and then completed
Endocrinology training through a combined program at the University of California, San
Diego and Scripps Clinic. Dr. Lupo is the current secretary of the Academy of Clinical
Thyroidologists and serves on the American Thyroid Association Clinical Affairs
Committee, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) Ultrasound
Faculty, AACE Nuclear Medicine Certifying Board and AACE Cytology Task Force. He
is ECNU certified in neck ultrasound. His primary clinical interests are neck ultrasound
and ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration in the management of thyroid nodules and
thyroid cancer. |

Along with Dr. Lupo, Debbie leads the nursing
staff and front office staff in a patient-oriented team approach to your medical health care needs.
Debbie studied at Emory University and received medical certification from Sarasota Technical
Institute. Debbie has over thirty years of management experience, with eighteen years in medical
management. Debbie is the Practice Management and Billing Consultant for the Advanced
Thyroid Ultrasound Guided FNA Course taught by Dr. Lupo and Dr. Nicole Massoll of the
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. |
